This year sees Crown Sports Lockers mark a quarter of a century of manufacturing and installing bespoke fit-outs for locker and changing rooms across the education, hospitality, leisure, sport, industrial and commercial sectors.
The journey has taken Crown from its first projects upgrading golf club changing rooms (many still in service) to turnkey supply of dry and wet provision in some of the UK’s largest fitness club networks, boutique hotels and chains.
Crown has spearheaded the trend towards luxury changing facilities within high-end spas, while broadening its manufacturing scope to include, ancillary furniture found in treatment and reception rooms and foyers.
Still said to be the only manufacturer to have gained a British Standard for timber lockers, Crown has invested in specialist production facilities that allow it to custom build premier quality furniture under its Made in Britain status.
Ever alert to toughening fire regulations, Crown runs leading-edge fire retardancy lacquering processes that apply resistant coatings across its ranges when these are fitted within vulnerable environments.
Throughout its 25 years, Crown has remained deeply committed to devoting dedicated project managers to each job it undertakes – partnering the client from first meeting to sign-off and aftercare.
That’s one reason why so many of Crown’s customers say: “They are so easy to work with and know their subject inside out.”
